RICHARD BLAND
DIRECTOR
Richard is a Director, Dramaturg, and Facilitator with bases in the South West and South East of England.
Richard embodies collaboration, integrity, truth, and fun in his work, emphasising substance over style. He has experience in contemporary, classic, comedy, and youth-oriented productions, and is particularly passionate about new writing, devised pieces, and adaptations.
Richard likes to infuse his work with a touch of magic and mythology, and fosters a desire to make theatre more accessible to the under represented and the working classes.
Richard has collaborated with Castle Park Theatre, Protocol Theatre, and Headgate Young Company.
He holds a Drama Directing MA from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, class of 2023.
Additionally, Richard is an experienced Drama Facilitator, having worked extensively with youth groups and the elderly in the South West and South East regions.
